Emergency Communications

The Emergency Communications Center is responsible for around-the-clock dispatch of emergency (911) and non-emergency (540) 955-1234) calls. The office is also responsible for street addressing system throughout Clarke County.

Clarke’s Communications Specialists are certified through the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services as Communications Operators. They also earn certification from the Virginia Criminal Information Network, CPR and Emergency Medical Dispatching, and some have attained Certified Training Officer level training and hold instructor certificates from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services.

Emergency Communications Center is located at 100 N. Church St. in Berryville Va.
