Clarke County, VA
Home MenuRural Lands Plan Development Project
The Rural Lands Plan is a new proposed implementing component plan of the 2022 Clarke County Comprehensive Plan that is currently being developed by the Planning Commission's Comprehensive Plan Committee. This new Plan would provide guidance for decision-making in the County's rural, unincorporated areas outside of the Towns of Berryville and Boyce and the business intersections in Waterloo and Double Tollgate. It is intended to replace the County's Agricultural Land Plan and Mountain Land Plan and would incorporate the concept of a Village Plan for Millwood and White Post as recommended by the Comprehensive Plan.
As the Rural Lands Plan is being developed, documents including public outreach materials and drafts will be posted below. If you have questions or would like to submit comments on the Rural Lands Plan effort, please contact Brandon Stidham (Director of Planning) via phone at 540-955-5130 or by email.
