The Clarke County Parks & Recreation fitness trail in Chet Hobert Park is approximately 2-miles around the perimeter of the 102-acre park. A stone-dust surface covers the 8-root wide trail, making it accessible to all ages and fitness levels. The fitness trail is open from dawn to dusk, seven days per week.
Park visitors can enjoy leisurely walks or exhilarating jogs through wooded areas. Wildflowers, rock formations, and wildlife add to the beauty. Visitors must adhere to the Trail Rules posted along the trail.
Possession/consumption of alcoholic beverages on park property is prohibited. All animals must be kept on leashes at all times.
