Clarke County Department of Social Services promotes and supports the development of healthy and protects Virginia’s children and adults from abuse and neglect, because all children and communities deserve to be safe. CCDSS believes in family, child, and youth-centered practice, and believes children do best when raised by their families, and all children deserve and need a safe and permanent family. CCDSS partners with others to support child and family success in a system that is child, family, and community based.
