POSTED MARCH 23: The Clarke County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications through 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2020, for the Berryville District Board of Supervisor seat that will be vacated by Mary Daniel (effective May 1, 2020). The successful candidate will likely be appointed by the Board on May 11 and begin service at the May 19 Board meeting. See calendar on clarkecounty.gov for meeting schedule information. The appointment is effective until a Special Election in November 2020. Interested citizens who live in the Berryville District must complete this form, and submit it to the County Administration office in person or via email by the March 30 deadline. (Form includes mailing and email addresses.) Direct questions or difficulties with the form to County Administration. Note: Submitted applications may be shared with the public or members of media. 

 

The Clarke County Board of Supervisors needs county residents to serve on various boards, committees, and commissions. The Board maintains a list of interested individuals in order to fill openings. Residents who want to serve their community should contact their district Supervisor, or send a cover letter to the Board of Supervisors c/o Clarke County Administration, 101 Chalmers Ct., Berryville, VA 22611. Or, send an email to info@clarkecounty.gov.
