 The mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at 140 White Post Road, White Post, VA 22663. 

The Clarke County Purchasing Office, on behalf of the Clarke County Government, is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified firms to demolish and remove a garage at 140 White Post Road, White Post, VA 22663 per the specifications stated within this document.

Sealed bids should be clearly marked, “IFB: #25-0709 DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF GARAGE” and must be received by the County in at least one of the two ways below: 

  •  By having the sealed bid received in the Clarke County Purchasing Office before 3:00:00 p.m. (local prevailing time), Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

  • By posting electronically on eVA before the deadline of 3:00:00 on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

 Bids received after the due date of 3:00:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 will not be eligible for contract award.  Shortly after the deadline, a County representative will read the bids out loud and record them.

 There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (local prevailing time) at 140 White Post Road, White Post, VA 22663.  Vendors will be able to inspect the inside and outside of the garage during the mandatory pre-bid meeting.  Only those vendors who have signed-in before the conclusion of the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be eligible to submit a bid. 

If the procurement and/or pre-bid meeting is cancelled, a notice will be posted on the County’s webpage, www.clarkecounty.gov, under the business/procurement notifications tab.  Vendors are encouraged to check the site before leaving for the mandatory pre-bid meeting to ensure that the meeting is still being held and has not been cancelled.
