The Virginia Department of Transportation advises staying home if you do not have to travel. Motorists should remain alert for slick conditions, especially on bridges and back roads. Assume anything that appears wet is ice.

• Virginia Regional Transit bus service in Clarke
OPENING LATE
• Clarke County government offices open at 10 a.m.
• Department of Social Services opens at 10 a.m.
• Clarke County Library opens at 1 p.m.
