Bear’s Den Youth Hostel
Bears Den is located on Blue Ridge Mountain Road (Route 601). Build in 1933 as a summer home, it is reminiscent of a European castle, complete with turrets and a tower. Without a doubt, this hostel is one of the most impressive hostels in the eastern United States.
